Why everyone should have an "Observation-Journal"
Debunking the "Fantasy-Journal" myth...
The Impression
You might have gotten the impression based on my first post or you might already have the impression that observation journal is just a ‘fantasy journal’ needed by people who want to be like sherlock or conan or detective wannabe. If your thoughts are similar to what i have written here, then my friend, you are thinking absolutely in the wrong direction.
If you carefully read the ‘purpose’ section of this kind of journaling I have mentioned in my first post then you would understand its importance. The potential this journal has is limitless and those who will stay with it will definitely grow in life.My Impression
I had seen some crazy changes in my thinking and analytical skills yet i have just started journaling:
1. Memory boost,
2. The more you think with notebook in one hand and pen on the other, no way you would be holding your phone thus helping you spend less screen time and prevent doom scrolling,
3. Creative ideas will start coming to you like raindrops from the sky.
My first brainstorming session of the day starts with my observation journal and I’ll be honest with you, very unique ideas come to my mind even when i have no prior experience of journaling or writing a blog.
Real-Life Pros of an Observation Journal-
1. Sharpens Everyday Awareness
2. Improves Decision-Making
3. Boosts Emotional Intelligence
4. Increases Productivity and Mental Clarity
5. Builds Self-Awareness6. Enhances Creative Thinking
True Power
One last point which is actually very important and is the biggest benefit of the observation journal that is the observation journal is could actually be a way to understand yourself.
—>your behavior
—>your direction of thinking,
—>your sequence of thinking like do you prioritize emotions first or go for an analytical approach when complex situations arise which can later help you analyze whether your emotional or analytical approach was correct or not.
Over time, this journal becomes a mirror - showing you not just what’s around you but what’s within you.

Journaling is one of the best way for me to get my mind clear. Sometimes when I get stuck with finding out the solution somehow the answer appears on paper. Another thing that help me is voice journal or I'll just record my self and rant. Man so many times I so happen to find the answers in me.
convinced! you got valid points.
