The Day I realized Sherlock Skills are Real-"The ODR way of viewing reality."
A journal anybody can create and decode their day-to-day life, sharpening observations and responding with purpose.
Welcome to the first post of my ‘Observation Journal’.
About me:
I have always been fascinated by crime-thrillers, mysteries, secrets etc. and most of you who will be reading this will relate to my thoughts. How Sherlock Holmes deduce a person’s past-present just by a small interaction with that person or how Conan has always been able to solve the toughest of crimes through pure deduction has always thrilled me with excitement and curiosity. How can I also do the stuff these people do? The question was easy to ask but the answer was nowhere to be found until I decided to take things on my own hands and dig deeper into this question. Until I found a way to reach it.
About The Journal and the Journey we will be having:
Abstract:
Sometimes you know people miss obvious things in daily life which was there in plain sight. What I want is to tell everyone-’Hey, lets do something good and interesting, when you are bored, scrolling reels or tiktoks, feeling demotivated, feeling unsure, feeling super-good, feeling passionate or more, let’s do some journaling for sometime and increase our knowledge base.’ I have personally experienced the shift in mindset and thought-process when I started this 2 days ago. My mind feels more relaxed and powerful. I can remember small things that I usually miss which suggests that it has helped strengthening my memory muscles.
Purpose:
So, the purpose of the journal is to create a habit of learning yourself, how do you think in a situation, how do you observe→deduce→respond to a situation, creating a self-feedback loop where you can correct your mistakes and get better day-by-day. I want you to be more aware of yourself and the surrounding so that whenever there is a situation nobody is able to handle, your quick thinking and presence of mind will bring people out of this mess. This is an evolving journal and is still in its early stage but its foundation is strong enough to get you directly to an intermediate level. Knowledge building is also a direct result of this kind of journaling. You know “knowledge can sometimes bring you out from the most desperate of situations.”
”Don’t underestimate yourself and think all of this as a hassle rather look at it as someone who has just began his journey into a world you yourself were afraid to enter at first.”
About the Journal:
I have created a simple template as a starter so people who also want to start their journey with me don’t get overwhelmed and can start easily. It is an evolving journal so there will be improvements from time-to-time. I am always open to suggestions so you can email your ideas to me and we will together brainstorm it. The journaling system is based on ‘O-D-R system’ that I have personally designed which implies to-’Observe-Deduce-Respond’. Everything will be discussed in the upcoming blogs. The basic structure will also be shared later.
About the Journey:
This is a journey to learn and apply knowledge as we move along. I recently came to realize that I have wasted 5 years of my life gaining very less knowledge in compare to the amount I should have consumed. If I draw a knowledge curve in time, I will get a slow gradient for those 5 years and seriously, it bothers me. So I came up with the best way to fill those 5 years and my upcoming 10 years with knowledge I never had and train my mind to break its limiter and think beyond. Never is too late, always love yourself and be curious. Your body might be old or young but your mind should always be of a child..learning through and through.
”I hope you will be with me on this journey for long..”
Let others know you have found a noble purpose.

I appreciate your idea, a true masterpiece for sure and I am gonna do this roo
